Our optometrist at the Eyes of the World specializes in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contacts.
Dr. Phillips takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

Meet our staff:
JB began working in optical in 2012. Very patient, she will spend as much time as it takes to make sure you are satisfied with the products you choose. She enjoys assembling the final product, making sure your glasses are ready for dispense. Come in for an adjustment or just some routine maintenance, and have a chat about anything: eyewear options, sunglasses, or task specific glasses. When not working, JB enjoys trying to keep up with her toddler.
Melissa bringing years of experience to the team, began her career in optics in 1999. She enjoys helping patients select the best pair of glasses to meet their needs, from frame-selection, to lens options and adjustments. Outside of work, Melissa keeps busy with her lovely daughter.
